What is National Age Group Tournament?

National Age Group Tournament (NAGT) is the pinnacle talent competition in the country for youth players. Teams from each Federation are selected to attend the tournament at various age groups and compete against each other during a 5 day competition that takes place in Wellington.

NAGT has some new structural changes in 2021 that will be communicated in due course. The tournament will look similar to previous years but with an extra team at each age group. This will make 8 teams and rather than play everyone once, they will be split into 2 groups of 4. Exact details of the structure have not been confimed yet, we will update this page as soon as we have more details.
