Community Based Referee Courses (CBR)
Hundreds of mums, dads and coaches each week take charge with their whistle, not because of a desire to be the best referee in the world, but simply because their kid’s game will be more enjoyable and safer if a few simple rules are followed.
The Community Based Referee (CBR) accreditation recognizes the importance of this level of involvement in the game and takes individuals through a course (often run at their own club) to become registered as a CBR. They are then entitled to referee any Federation match at their own club or at an opposition club if the opposition club does not have either an appointed official or their own CBR. All CBRs have the same rights and obligations of an appointed official.
If a club has sufficient numbers interested in a course it will be held at your own club. CBR courses will also be held in each region on dates to be advised.
Participants will be able to access online material once registered and paid. For any club wishing to host a CBR course please contact email@example.com to confirm availability and costs.
