Football South have announced plans for a new all-weather sports complex at Logan Park.
The complex will be regarded as Dunedin’s ‘Home of Football’, but will offer plenty to the entire local community, with other sports and local organisations able to utilise the facilities.
As well as offering world-class artificial surfaces for elite players and matches, players of all ages and abilities will be given the opportunity to train and play on the fields. We’re confident it will greatly enhance the development of the game in the region.
We believe that the facilities will take a massive strain off playing and training fields across the city that struggle to cope over the winter season with the inevitable poor weather.
With FIFA funding already earmarked, Football South have formally requested funding support from the Dunedin City Council to contribute towards the facility.
We’ll have more details available soon!
