Last days for New Zealand Football’s VoP Survey
New Zealand Football is encouraging all registered footballers to have their say in the annual Sport New Zealand research programme, the ‘Voice of Participant’ (VoP).
The research aims to help New Zealand Football understand what is important to all football players at clubs around the country and how they view their experience at their club.
The survey, which will take around 5 – 10 minutes to complete, has been sent out to the email address that footballers use to register with their club.
Around 8,000 footballers completed the VoP Survey in 2016 and New Zealand Football would like as many participants as possible this year.
Jamie Milne, the Community Development Manager at New Zealand Football, said the Voice of Participant Survey is hugely important feedback for the governing body.
“The annual survey will help us monitor any general progress or issues in our football community and keep the benefits to players at the forefront of our thinking,” said Milne.
“People in the football community are hugely passionate about their sport and this is an opportunity for them to share their experience of our game, both good and bad, and help us improve our delivery. We strongly encourage all of our members to take part in this survey.”
Nielsen, an independent research company, is carrying out this confidential survey on behalf of New Zealand Football and Sport NZ. The results will not be reported in a way that will allow the member to be individually identified. At the end of the project, a summary of the results will be shared with the Federations and clubs.
Results from the last two years have helped New Zealand Football and its seven Federations understand and act on what is important to members in football clubs.
Respondents who complete the VoP survey go into the draw to win one of seven exciting prize packs for your club valued at $900 each. The survey is open until this Sunday, 30 July.
