Balls, bibs, cones,lots of girls and sunshine were in evidence at Memorial Park for the start of Footballsouth's Girls and Women's Football Week.

On Tuesday night in Mosgiel it will be the mums' turn to learn some basic coaching skills, followed by another fun and skills event at the Oval from 5.30pm on Wednesday.

On Friday mums will again be invited in town to Ocean Grove for a coaching night, and the week will end on Sunday at the Oval from 10.00am where there will be a final fun football festival.
