Following  successes in 2009 the New Zealand Football Ferns will play 2 home games against Australia as part of their build up for the Cyprus Cup Tournament in March. The games will be played as part of the Nationwide Girls & Women's Week - 15th - 21st February.

The Cyprus Cup will be a good test for the Ferns with matches against the likes of England, Italy & Canada in their long term build up to the Olympic Games in London 2012.
