Coach Development Pathway
Coaching Opportunities
New Zealand Football qualifications will help coaches to get knowledge and understanding of player development. It's aim is to help coaches reach their full potential. In many countries coaches need certain qualifications to be able to coach at different levels.
There is a distinct difference between coaching Juniors, Youth and Seniors. Even when coaching different ages within the Juniors coaches will need a specific skill set to be able to cope with the ever changing demands.
Underneath follows an outline of the general levels at which coaches can apply their trade:

- Representative Level (e.g. 11th grade North Otago team playing within the federation ending up with the South Island Tournament).
Youth
