2017 Junior & Senior Competitions start tomorrow

Are you excited? We’re only one day away from kickoff in 2017!
Senior Men’s and Junior competitions get underway tomorrow (Senior Women commence the following Saturday).

In the ODT Southern Premier League, there are some fascinating match-ups to commence the season:
  • Mosgiel, with Craig Whitson taking the reins for the first time, host a young Northern side with plenty of new faces.
  • The two new sides to the competition, Queenstown Rovers & Southland United, face off up in Queenstown.
  • A new look Dunedin Tech side visits Green Island at their Sunnyvale home ground that’s just getting the finishing touches on it’s spectacular upgraded facilities.
  • At Tonga Park, last year’s unbeaten champions Caversham host Roslyn Wakari where the Blair Davidson Challenge Trophy will be on the line. Keep an eye out tomorrow for our feature on the Challenge Trophy and why it’s such a sought-after trophy in local football.
  • University have the bye this week.
Remember that all players across all grades should be registered online through the ‘Goalnet’ platform – if you haven’t registered yet, get in touch with your coach or club for details on how to register.
